Porto’s Bakery, Cafe, and Restaurant

General contracting services were provided for the construction of a new, two-story restaurant and café, along with a one-story retail shell building. The project showcases a blend of architectural types, with the restaurant and café designed as Type 1 and 3 structures, and the retail shell building as a Type 5 structure.

The restaurant and café, spanning an impressive 22,825 SF, are spread across two floors. The design and layout of these spaces have been meticulously planned to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for patrons. The ground floor houses the main dining area, while the upper floor is designed to accommodate additional seating and private dining rooms.

The project also includes a fully equipped food preparation kitchen. Adjacent to the kitchen, a small bakery has been set up. The café, an integral part of the project, serves as a relaxed space for customers to enjoy a cup of coffee and a selection of snacks from the bakery. 

In addition to the restaurant and café, the project includes a 5,280 square foot one-story retail shell building. This Type 5 structure provides a versatile space that can be customized to accommodate a variety of retail businesses. The project also involved offsite work at the street frontage. This included landscaping and the installation of signage to enhance the building’s curb appeal and visibility.

Behind the restaurant, a large on-site parking lot has been constructed. This feature ensures ample parking space for customers.
