House Foods

Numerous services were provided at this tofu manufacturing plant* since 1997.  Most recent expansion was completed in April 2023.

Projects include:

• Design-build services for the 141,800 SF tofu manufacturing facility which included refrigeration and freezer storage rooms, office and warehousing, steam, hot water, chilled water and compressed air systems.
• Design-build services for the addition of two process lines in 24,000 SF of existing warehouse area. Work was performed with existing process lines in production. Process equipment installation performed by PMD.
• Design-build tenant improvement work to upgrade utilities and equipment in preparation for the delivery of a new owner furnished/owner installed boil cool tofu making machine.
• Addition of a refrigeration area (cooler storage) within the existing warehouse (approximately 4,100 SF), and renovation of an existing shipping office area.
• Design-build services for a 36,763 SF building expansion and renovation for House Foods tofu manufacturing plant who purchased an adjacent building to their existing. This project merges three buildings into one.
• 70,869 SF renovation and 19,143 SF addition to an existing two-story manufacturing and warehouse building into tofu production facility building. The new facility consists of a cold storage, loading dock, production, casing, soaking room, blower, grinder, cooker, and material storage on the first floor and an observation corridor on the second floor.
