Cold Film Vault
Burbank, CA
General contracting services provided for the construction of a new, single story 8,000 SF film storage vault*. Work included demolition of existing buildings, relocation of utilities, new construction, sophisticated mechanical systems to maintain cold (35 degrees F) and low humidity (20%) conditions for safe and stable storage of film archive. Fire protection system is also sophisticated and involves inergen, hypoxic and other systems.
This project is located on a major film and animation studio campus.
